Well, Smitha and me had been to see "Welcome to the Jungle". If you've seen Indiana Jones and The Mask of Zorro, you've seen this movie.
I'd actually intended to see Kill Bill but Smitha changed horses midstream and poor yours truly had to hop on. I am sure Kill Bill would have been a good bet! Uma Thurman and Quentin Tarantino(I loved Reservoir Dogs) cannot dissapoint.

Anyway, we went for this film to a big multiplex theatre called Fun Republic. This place shows 4 movies at the same time and has 4 levels. Each level has a cafeteria, pizzeria, gaming zone the works. And the tickets are priced such that you prefer to eat there. For e.g. each ticket for yesterday(weekend shows are expensive) cost Rs. 130. Add 19 to it and you get a coke and a burger thrown in. Why not??

We also did some shopping for Christmas and bought a spectacle frame for my Dad. We had dinner at an Irani restaurant. We missed the biriyani and so went for a seekh kabab and mutton rice plate. We ended it with a custard.

The next movie that I'd be seeing is Tolkein's Lord of the rings-the last of the trilogy.


Guess, Adithan and me will be off to see it when it's here. And again, Adi will not stand when the national anthem is being played. He argues that wearing patriotism on one's sleeve is pointless. He says if he started playiong the national anthem on a Mumbai street at peak time, how many of us would care to stand?
I didn't argue with him as I'm yet to win an argument with Adi.

And coming back home at around 1240 hrs.(AM) we were stuck in a traffic jam on Andheri-Kurla road.
This city just refuses to sleep.
